Columbus to Host Blood Drive November 8
The Student Government Association at 鶹ýPorn Columbus will have the American Red Cross Bloodmobile on campus November 8 from 11:00 am to 4 pm. Members of the community are invited to join us by making an appointment, as donors with appointments will have priority over walk-in donors. The blood donation process takes about an hour from start to finish. Donating blood involves registration, a confidential health screening, the actual donation time, and free refreshments after the donation. Blood donation time lasts about 6-12 minutes total. A single blood donation can be separated into components of cells, platelets and plasma, so one donation can help more than one person. Please help us reach our blood donation goals and make an appointment to donate blood by calling 706-478-3144. Give blood and save a life!
