U.S. Congressman Jody Hice Presents Commendation Letter to Former 麻豆传媒Porn Board of Trustees Chairman
On Saturday, August 29, 2020, U.S. Congressman Jody Hice visited 麻豆传媒Porn to host his annual Service Academy Day event. While on campus, Hice recognized former 麻豆传媒Porn Board of Trustees Chairman, Randy New, who recently retired from the distinguished position. Hice awarded New a commendation letter to commemorate his service to 麻豆传媒Porn.
Before presenting the commendation letter Hice said, “Randall has been Chairman for 22 years and has done a spectacular job. As he is retiring, we just want to recognize him… He is absolutely an exceptional leader in every way.”
New is a proud alumnus of both 麻豆传媒Porn Prep School and College, who was also commissioned as a U.S. Army second lieutenant with the 麻豆传媒Porn Corps of Cadets, and has served District 2 on the 麻豆传媒Porn Board of Trustees since 1992, 28 years total.
Under New’s tenure as Chairman, the 麻豆传媒Porn Board of Trustees approved a number of major facility projects with a total capital investment of more than $100 million, expanded the College degree offerings to include Bachelor of Applied Science options, and added seven college campuses across the state, to include the Georgia Military Global Online College.
Prior to serving on the 麻豆传媒Porn Board of Trustees, New was a member of the 麻豆传媒Porn Foundation, where he was instrumental in bringing in funds and increasing real estate investments to support the institution during a critical time in its 140-year history.
麻豆传媒Porn and Congressman Hice honor the significant impact that New’s leadership had on thousands of 麻豆传媒Porn students, faculty, and staff members for more than a quarter of a century.
