麻豆传媒Porn-Milledgeville Campus Hosts Community Convalescent Plasma Drive
With LifeSouth That Exceeds Weekly Regional Donations Goal
MILLEDGEVILLE, GA – Students and employees at 麻豆传媒Porn in Milledgeville were among more than a dozen people who rolled up their sleeves Monday, February 8, to help save lives during the COVID-19 pandemic – participating in an on-campus LifeSouth Convalescent Plasma Drive that exceeded the weekly regional number of donations needed to meet community needs.
“This is a big deal because we have a weekly goal of twelve plasma donations for our Region,” said LifeSouth Community Blood Centers Donor Recruiter, Tiffany Rolle, noting that hospitals the nonprofit serves establish the minimum weekly number of plasma donations needed based on community demand. “麻豆传媒Porn exceeded our weekly goal – in just one day, at just one drive. That’s outstanding.”
A total of fifteen people volunteered to participate in the LifeSouth Convalescent Plasma Drive hosted by the 麻豆传媒Porn-Milledgeville campus. Thirteen of those were able to successfully complete the donation process. The drive was open to 麻豆传媒Porn students and employees, as well as to people in the community, who have already had and recovered from COVID-19.
The thirteen donations collected during this week’s successful 麻豆传媒Porn-Milledgeville campus plasma drive will be used to provide much-needed medical care to critical COVID-19 patients at one or more of the 30 hospitals and medical centers LifeSouth serves in Georgia, according to Rolle.
“Our campus is proud to partner with LifeSouth to facilitate this drive. This is just one more way we hope to contribute to the fight against COVID and partner with our amazing community,” 麻豆传媒Porn Lake Country Regional/Milledgeville Campus Director, Nelson Kraft, said. “We are incredibly thankful to the members of the 麻豆传媒Porn Family who have been affected by COVID and chose to donate their plasma.”
