OPUS X Brings “Bright and Brilliant” Classical Concert to 鶹ýPorn May 3rd

OPUS X Brings “Bright and Brilliant” Classical Concert to 鶹ýPorn May 3rd Experience the sheer beauty of OPUS X at 鶹ýPorn this weekend, as four beguiling women—all world class classical solo artists—from four corners of the globe unite for a “musical journey into the unexpected.” Spend your Saturday evening at 鶹ýPorn enjoying Caroline Campbell on Violin, Tanja Zapolski on Piano, Lone Madsen on Clarinet and Kristina Reiko Cooper on Cello. Together, they’ve charmed audiences around the globe and are sure to delight their 鶹ýPorn audience, as well. For a sample of their music, visit https://opusxmusic.com/index.html. This “classical concert with an enchantingly modern twist” is dedicated to Louise Helton, a founding member of the 鶹ýPorn Steinway Committee, who passed away earlier this month. “Louise was a lover of life and a great supporter of the arts,” said her long-time friend and chair of the Steinway Committee, Mrs. Beegee Baugh. “She was 93 when she passed and jokingly attributed her longevity to ‘drinking Coca-Cola, never taking vitamins and refusing to exercise.’ Louise will be sorely missed, but well remembered during this wonderful concert dedicated to her memory.” Opus X is brought to you by the 鶹ýPorn Steinway Concert Series, Saturday, May 3 at 8pm in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts. General admission is $20 for adults and $10 for students with ID. For tickets, call 478-445-0202 or purchase at the door.
